I love just about everything about it. I just wish it were higher res and the
text were smaller and less prominent. Of course, I'm generally not a fan of
text, so to each thier own. =)
Still a +fav for totally capturing the mood of Nozomu.
I don't believe I have ever seen the original, but the background is beautiful
and everything is very fitting in style. The only thing that disappoints me is
that the resolution is so small and the rough parts around Yuki. I don't know if
it was the extraction or the original scan quality, but either way it was an
excelent concept and a well planned composition.
I love the colors, the blends, and the textures, beautiful job all
around.
As for suggestions, I would say do some sort of woodgrain floor beneath her and
considering the lighting based on her skin tones, you could figure in something
like moonlight/candle light through door/window etc. The angle is what I think
makes it difficult, it limits you to having to pick a surface and cover the
entire area. Beyond something a on the abstract side, I'd say stick with using
lighting for your variation in the background and just pick a surface texture.
Excellent work, especially considering it's your third vector. Leaving the
background simple works well for this, since blue is usually considered a serene
color. I generally think people have way too much going on in the backgrounds of
their walls, and it takes away from the character.
i guess i have way too much time at work, but surfing between all the image
boards, scan sites and such, ive noticed that most of the scans posted here are
just taken from elsewhere. i dont see why you two thought you would start a
crusade against this guy, cause hes doing exactly what so many others are.
the actual chance that a scan on MT was uploaded by the person who did the
actual scanning is probably much lower than you seem to think.
awesome job and I agree, Mononoke deserves alot more love

Awesome work, glad you shared.
I've been looking for these scans, thanks for sharing.
nice work. welcome to MT

btw, you can never have too much blue =P
Amazing vector work, especially considering the amount of detail on the character. I'm sure your friend will love it.

always a fan of your Air Gear cgs, excellent work on this one as well
Very nice work on the vector. I think it looks better without the border though.
Very nice, the eye is exceptionally well done.
Amazing, I loved the original scan and you certainly did it justice here. +fav
Vector is from http://pinkubentobox.com/blog/index.php/categories/traces/
excellent work =D
Very nice for a first. I do suggest using higher resolutions for future works, 1600x1200 would be preferred.
Amazing work on the shading. Just wish it didn't have text on it, especially the text across her legs.

amazing work on the wall, I seriously can't deal with her facial expression though, lol
I love that font, could you send me some info on where to find it or what it's called?
I pretty much like everything, from the overall image to the color selection/style. The work on the hair alone amazes me though.
Fasalina would be her name. =P
Thanks, this was random enough to amuse me for a while.
I'm not usually fond of pink walls, but you managed to compliment it well in this one. Nice work, +Fav.
Very nice work on this one. The cityscapes were a great addition to better define the background.
