Your links are missing to the actual pictures, but i figured it out from the
thumbnail file names. I personally think the first one is good. If you wanted to
make the modifications to the eyes, I suggest trying to soften them some to mix
with the rest of the picture a bit more.
I've been working on this for the last couple of days and I just needed some
suggestions to help finalize it or reassurance that it's finished. I have two
different versions, because I couldn't decide whether the moon in the image was
out of place as an image or whether it would look better as a vector.
Feel free to shoot me down if you think it's utter crap.
Great concept and nice work on the background, but there's alot of pixelation on
Yuki. A light blur over her might help, but I think vectoring or finding a
better scan would be best.
Was dropping by to look at your other work and saw this post. I've actually been
researching this too in hopes of getting a tablet PC sometime soon. The thing I
believe will give you the options you want is found at http://www.wacom.com/tabletpc/driver.cfm
This is a Tablet PC driver supplied by Wacom that basically gives it all the
features of the Graphire series tablets if not more. The one I linked to is the
Windows XP version, if you need a driver for Vista, just look in the downloads
sections and you will find "Tablet PC" listed under models.
Need suggestions or commentary. I pretty much did what I had planned, but it
didn't really end up like I imagined. I do like how the background came out
sorta abstract, since I wanted focus on the character. I kind of get the feeling
that its too abstract.
The background was made using the tracing options in IL CS2. I then made several
modifications to color schemes and removed a few things.

guess it wasnt worth a comment
The whole series is awesome, but I liked TSR the most because the character
development involved. Fumoffu was a comedy goldmine and a great addition to the
overall story.
Until tobacco is an illegal substance, I will smoke when and where I want. The
state I live in has already passed a law than you can't smoke less than 50 feet
from the entrance of a public building. I would be fine with that, except for
the fact that they put the ashtrays about two feet from the door. I don't smoke
to impose on others who do not smoke, so they have no right to impose on
me.
On a side note, cigarette tax is about 1.50 USD per pack, this is 15.00 USD of
money per carton that goes straight to the government. In 2005, it was estimated
3.786 billion cartons of cigarettes sold. That brings the total amount of tax
dollars accrued from cigarettes to about 57 billion USD for that year. Claiming
that your angry that your tax dollars are being wasted on smokers is pointless.
Especially considering self-inflicted health issues due to smoking is not
financially covered by anyone but the smoker.
A friend told me the other day that ten times as many people die per year due to
falling coconuts than shark attacks. Turns out this was a valid study that
triggered a crusade against coconut trees. Tourist locations around the world
began hacking down coconut trees. The point is that people will start a crusade
against anything out of fear of death or loss of money, regardless of how stupid
it is.
You can try to create a new administrative user profile in Windows. This can
circumvent virii that ride temp folders and so on. Once you get the new profile
loaded, try running a scanner of some sort on your drive. Do not use Norton or
MacAfee, plain and simple. For a free online scan you can try TrendMicro.com.
You may not be able to run it depending on the virus, so you can try the
downloadable demo or AVG as suggested before.
PS creates it's own page file in addition to the Windows page file. If your HD
is not recovering all of the space once the program is closed, you may consider
running a Check Disk (aka chkdsk). This will do a surface scan of the HD and
recover data fragments. It is possible that you have files created on your HD
that are recovered fragments of broken data. You can check for such files and
delete them, they are usually named as File0001.CHK in the root of the drive.
The problem with American "cartoons" is that they always focus on
comedy. The general American mindset is brainwashed to only accept the animated
medium being for children. I think Cartoon Network has actually accomplished
much in the last few years in breaking this trend, but they are doing so with
Japanese anime rather than pushing for America productions. The Boondocks
however is an extremely good show that is stylized very similar to Samurai
Champloo, but not in a way that would be considered a "rip-off" or
copycat. I see American animation slowly being revolutionized due to the
popularity of Japanese anime becoming more mainstream in America.
I hated my parents because they never understood or listened to me. We argued
constantly, especially my mother and I. After I moved out and they lost all
control over my life, they started treating me more like an adult. Perhaps I
proved something by making it on my own, or maybe they gave up trying to
influence my every action. Either way, I don't spend a lot of time with them,
but I do love them, and they still care about me.
It's actually flawed intentionally. I tried to leave the question open ended and
still stimulate a decent response from the community. I did purposely target
atheist, since strangely enough, they seem to be more emotionally connected to
their non-belief. It's nothing personal, just a simple observation that atheist
are more passionate, which is a good trait.
I personally believe that about 90% of the population is agnostic. Most will
choose a side during a discussion like this though, simply to participate.
Quote by PlunkiesAccording to your
theory I bet scientologists LOVE anime, infact just yesterday I saw Tom Cruise
get angry over psychology again...he made some funny hand gestures and yelled
"Kage bunshin no jutsu!" at the
interviewer.
Ah yes, the scientology angle. Good way to ruin a perfectly good
conversation...
Quote by PlunkiesHrm, I have a
hypothesis that both atheists and religious people are equally likely to watch
anime but the religious people are far more likely to actually think it's real.
Perfect reply, you seem to have formed a decent hypothesis after the pointless
accusations. Your use of the word "real" is almost as dangerous as my
use of "unimaginative"...touche.
On a side note, I never stated my personal beliefs. This is merely scientific,
something I though an atheist would appreciate more than most.
I'm just curious as to the ratio of athiest to those of faith in an anime
related community. My hypothesis is that atheist are very unimaginative and
would be less likely to enjoy or be involved with anime.
As a side note, the question can also be assumed to cover those who are
Polytheist.

Are there programs other than Photoshop that have easier/better vector creation abilities?
